FAQ(5)

Is my image uploaded?

No. Resize and re-encode use Canvas in your browser. LocalKit processes this in your browser on www.908885.com—input is not uploaded to our servers for computation.

Which formats work?

JPEG, PNG, and WebP when the browser can encode WebP. If WebP export is missing, try another browser or output JPEG/PNG instead.

Why is quality disabled for PNG?

PNG output is lossless; the quality slider applies to lossy formats such as JPEG/WebP. Use max width/height to shrink PNG weight via dimensions.

What happens to transparency on JPEG?

Alpha is flattened onto a solid background because JPEG has no alpha channel. Keep PNG/WebP when you need transparency.

Any size limit?

About 30MB input is a practical guide, and canvas dimensions are capped near browser limits—device memory may force lower ceilings.
