FAQ(5)

Is Markdown rendered on a server?

No. Conversion uses a self-hosted Markdown engine in your browser.

Which Markdown features are supported?

Headings, lists, links, images, code blocks, bold/italic, blockquotes and hr—common subset, not every GFM extension.

Can I convert HTML back to Markdown?

Yes. Choose HTML → MD. Complex layouts may simplify.

Do templates leave my device?

No. Templates are static strings bundled with the page.

Will scripts in HTML run?

Conversion reads text via DOMParser; this tool is not an HTML sandbox for executing pages.
